In 2000, Lindsay Lohan landed a promising role as “Rose” on a new shoe starring Bette Midler titled Bette. The film was directed by Mark Waters who also directed Lindsay in Freaky Friday. The film was a high school based comedy/drama and was based on a book by author Rosalind Wiseman. The film was a darling with the critics and quickly went on to earn over $85 million in the domestic box office. Lohan quickly followed up with 2005’s Herbie Fully Loaded, a remake of an old Disney franchise in which the lovable VW becomes a Nascar racer. The movie opened to mediocre reviews and was a slight disappointment at the box office. Lindsay Lohan's string of success has cemented her as a bankable star in Hollywood. She now commands $7.5 million per picture which places her among the elite. Some of her future projects include movies titled Fashionistas, Just My Luck, Dramarama and a few other unnamed projects.
